Recording Basics Class

This program is split into 3 parts:

DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) Essentials

A necessity for the modern recording engineer or musician; Students will learn the basics of moving sound into and out of a any DAW they choose.

Routing and Workflow

Students will learn how to find their way around a recording console and a patch bay.

Students will learn how a normal studio recording and mixing session goes and how to keep momentum and progress in their musical endeavors

Mics and Mixing

Students will learn about different types of microphones and the 6 Controlling Factors of Mixing.

After this portion of the class, students will have the tools and knowledge they need to make confident mixing and mic'ing decisions.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 dollars is required in order to secure a spot for the recording programs. This deposit will count towards the total cost of your lessons. Payment for the rest of the program is due after the first week of classes.
